2017 was an innovative year for Powell Software and our digital workplace solution, Powell 365. In just 12 months, the Powell team released a bunch of new web parts, updated several major template options and publicized Powell Manager, the WYSIWYG designer behind the Powell 365 sites. Powell Software was the first company to offer an intranet-in-a-box that includes SharePoint communication sites, SPFx extensions and SharePoint Modern Experience theming. Powell Software strongly believes in communication, collaboration, and making real connections with employees. In 2017 alone, the Powell 365 corporate intranet was named Intranet Choice by ClearBox Consulting for North America and for international companies. Powell 365 was cited as the top solution for successful digital transformation by Lecko and called the third-party solution to accelerate usage rates by Gartner. The Powell team won first place at the SharePoint Dev Kitchen in 2016 and again for a second time, in 2017! Our Partner, Sogeti NL won Computable Partner Project of the Year 2017 with Friesland College based on a Powell 365 project.
