Employee Profile: Remy Prouvost
Remy joined the Powell Software team in May 2019 to take charge of the growth and development in the Middle East & Africa region. Remy joins the Dubai sales office to expedite the projects developing the MENA (Middle-East & North Africa) region and to quickly open and manage a second sales office in South Africa that will manage Austral Africa, a big triangle from Nairobi (Kenya) to Lagos (Nigeria and Johannesburg (South Africa).
With more than 20 years of experience in MEA region, developing IT & telecom businesses for various mid-size European companies willing to expand into the region, his goal is to make Powell Software a dominating enterprise in the market.

What attracted you to work on the Powell 365 team?
I knew Cyril, Powell Software Co-Founder and Chairman, from a previous organization, where we met and did good things together. When I saw him with Hakim on LinkedIn, celebrating the opening of Dubai office, I immediately thought I would love to join this project and work with such people. And the technology is very well adapted to the new Millennium profile of employees. All good things to make a good path for success.
What do you like most about your job?
Working in emerging regions is fantastic. It sometimes seems difficult, as you need to adapt yourself to Russian or Saudi people in the same day, but the value you can create is amazing.
What three words would you use to describe our culture?
Open at 365°, like the product!
What is your favorite Office 365 or Powell Software feature and why?
I am not a millennium and not a geek, but Powell hub is already making my life so easy. Thank you to the team for creating this!
What do you do in your free time outside the office?
I am happy to have lived for 4 years in Dubai. So visiting the region, from Rajasthan to Iran and Oman to Jordan is my favorite game.
What is your secret special talent?
Work hard – Play hard is my favorite notion that I’ve tried to share with my team.
What is the best social media for people to contact you on? Twitter handle, linkedin page etc.
My Social Index in Linkedin is not too bad. I daily used it to contact and ping prospects and partners…. And keep updated about our eco-system……but my team told me every day, I can improve much more…. and this is probably true!
