Powell Software announced the opening of three new international offices. The International Service Vendor opened offices in London, Cologne and Johannesburg in the span of three months. These new locations strengthen the Powell Software presence and offer a local base to drive sales, support and development for our partners and clients in those markets. This global expansion positions Powell Software as an international competitor in the digital workplace solutions market with a presence in North America, Europe, DACH, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Expansion around the world
The summer of 2019 was marked by the expansion of our activity range. In the last five years, our company helped digital workplace customers abroad, with locations in France, the United States, Dubai and Hong Kong. However, the demands of our clients are growing. To provide better services for targeted regions, we have chosen to continue our international growth in Germany, Africa and the United Kingdom. With the creation of these new offices, Powell Software is developing our range and operations in these specific markets.

London is calling
Our office in London will be dedicated exclusively to the whole of the United Kingdom and Ireland. The new location will strengthen our presence on the market and offer one-on-one attention to our partners. This will enable us to deliver operational services to our clients bring our expertise on digital transformation, the modern workplace and Office 365 adoption closer to current and potential clients.

In June 2019, Philippe Gomes, an experienced business leader, joined Powell Software to grow our activity across the UK region. Philippe will enforce our regional strategy, developing our partner networks and asserting our position as key player in the market.
Guten tag Cologne
In Germany, our activities were already on the rise with our invested partners and new creative projects. We made the decision to open an office in Cologne to help boost this momentum offer our clients access to local specialists. “We are seeing a strong demand in the German speaking market for Digital Workplace solutions to simplify Office 365 projects,” said Jean-Pierre Vimard, co-founder and CEO at Powell Software. “With this new office in Cologne, we can meet those needs and establish even closer ties of our partners and clients within the DACH region.”
Our operations in Cologne will be driven by Ayhan Balku, a German entrepreneur with experience on B2B markets. Ayhan joins Powell Software as a Country Manager dedicated to the DACH market and will lead the operations in the zone to expand our community as well as our notoriety in German speaking countries.
Ubuntu Johannesburg
In June 2019, we initiated our business in Africa. The soaring digital and collaborative market in Africa is a huge opportunity for Powell Software. “With the success of our Dubai office, it seemed natural to extend our reach into the African market,” said DeQueral. “Microsoft implementation in this area is developing and we are ready to enhance our offering to meet market needs.”
Our goal is to help enrich the developing Microsoft implementation in this area. The adaptability of the Powell Software product offering gives us the chance to match new upcoming needs in diverse areas, like the African market. Roshan Uggoda joined Powell Software to develop our ecosystem Sub-Saharan Africa as Head of Sales-Africa and Indian Ocean Islands. Roshan now manages our business development in the region, creating the right links with the African market and reinforcing our presence.
