Powell Software has been announced as the winner of the HRO Today Innovation in HR Technology Small-Mid Market EMEA award. This award recognizes our innovative new solution, Together, the intranet for SMEs. The awards took place during the HRO Today Association Conference on November 17th, 2021, an HR micro-event answering the pressing questions facing HR leaders today.
HRO Today recognized excellence across 10 categories, honoring companies and individuals who have achieved HR success. Other award winners include Capgemini and WarnerMedia.

Winning this award has been a proud moment for the entire Powell Software team who have spent months designing an all-in-one tool for the small-mid market. Together the Intranet for SMEs in Microsoft 365
Powell Software only recently launched our intranet solution for small and medium-sized enterprises, and the award recognizes the research and innovative technology behind it.
Since 2015, we have been helping enterprises connect employees through our digital workplace tools, Powell Intranet and Powell Teams. From discussions with our customers and partners, we realized that small and medium businesses needed the same support, with digital tools adapted to their size and more limited resources.
The pandemic further highlighted that SMEs are facing the same challenges as large companies, yet at a different scale. Small enterprises need to connect employees, both to each other and the workplace. Employees need access to documents, to quickly find information and collaborate in real-time.
To meet these needs, Powell Software developed Together – the small business intranet accessible from Microsoft Teams that support SMEs with their productivity, communication, and collaboration requirements.

Together also offers the Virtual Coffee Machine and Water Fountain application, enabling employees of SMEs to be better connected and enjoy an enhanced employee experience in the hybrid workspace, like those users of Powell Teams.
