Employee Profile: Hakim Lhamri
Hakim joined Powell Software in January, to take over the Middle East & African region. Based in Dubai, Hakim was our first employee in our Dubai headquarters. After working at the French Trade Commission in the UAE, he joined the team to develop and reinforce our partner operations in those two regions.

Why did you choose to work at Powell Software?
Microsoft is boosting economic growth and accelerating the digitization in the Middle East region and Powell Software is well known on the Microsoft ecosystem. They were offering the unique chance to open a new office in Dubai. I had the opportunity to be selected to face this challenge.
What do you like most about your job?
The most enjoyable thing for me is working with amazing customers that were using technology to do amazing and interesting work. And being a part of their workflow and able to contribute to their projects is very fulfilling.
What three words would you use to describe our culture?
Integrity, Adaptability, Human centric
What is your favorite Office 365 feature and why?
Without no doubt Microsoft Teams. With team collaboration being essential to a business’ success, you’ll need a platform to help you streamline all your tasks and communication and we now have Teams to support our teamwork.

What do you do in your free time outside the office?
I enjoy reading and have always been a voracious reader. Although I prefer reading mental literacy (personal development), it’s improving my productivity. And I’m a huge FC Barcelona football fan!
What is your secret special talent?
I’m an optimistic person! It’s a key lifeline for being successful at work and in my life.
