The company has been at home in the real estate industry for over 73 years, and people are their focus. Now, with a 230-strong team meravis is headquartered in Hanover, with a second office in Hamburg. The meravis real estate group was faced with the challenge of modernizing its information and communication structure and, at the same time, making it more intuitive and efficient. The existing intranet offered limited communication options and was characterized by technical hurdles.

Challenges
Meravis wanted to centralize the information and communication structure as well as knowledge processing for employees in one place, easily, intuitively, and digitally. The communication options in the old intranet were limited and organized in a classic top-down manner, so there was little opportunity for interaction among employees. At the same time, access to information was not always easy due to technical hurdles.
Sharing company news was time-consuming and, due to its complexity, only reserved for certain employees. A VPN connection was also required for access. An additional hurdle that prevented mobile employees, in particular, from using the intranet more intensively.
