CoStar Group recently launched a new public-facing website and wanted its intranet to align seamlessly with the updated design, including new colors, themes, and layouts. Previously, CoStar Group used LiveTiles for their intranet; however, the platform’s features and functionality didn’t always sync effectively with Microsoft updates. This caused internal page-level errors and led to the company’s perception that LiveTiles was unreliable.

To address these challenges, Powell and Synergy collaborated closely with CoStar Group to build four distinct templates tailored to their needs. These templates served as landing sites for essential hubs within the organization. Powell and Synergy worked meticulously with their team to ensure that the themes, layouts, and visual elements were in perfect harmony with the updated brand identity, preparing for a smooth and gradual transition.

In addition to design alignment, Powell and Synergy empowered CoStar’s project team with tools that allowed end users to create content easily. This enabled CoStar to support multiple brand identities across different entities within their organization, granting flexibility and autonomy to their users.
