What was your role in Microsoft? Can you tell us what this involved?

In my previous role, I led the team in charge of strategic partnerships with Global System Integrators and consulting, management, and strategy firms for Microsoft France. These partners like Accenture, Capgemini, BCG, and Ernst & Young are Microsoft’s largest partners worldwide and are constantly evolving around innovation topics. Our responsibility was to help them understand our solutions and their value to our respective customers, to train them and build their skills around specific practices and areas of expertise, to build offers and bring them to market with as much impact and differentiation as possible, and last but not least to drive the sale of these offers and the associated revenue.

What does the role of VP Channel & Strategic Partnerships involve?

This role involves two missions essential to the growth of Powell Software. Including both the construction and structuring of a strong network of partners worldwide through ESNs, telecom operators, resellers, and consulting firms. Like many companies in the cloud and SaaS domain, our partner network is a crucial element to scale further. Our ambition is to become a publisher that essentially achieves all of its sales through partners, enabling us to open new markets and address all sizes of customers. In addition, I will also be responsible for managing our partnership with any software publisher that can help Powell grow. The first and most important of course being Microsoft.

First and foremost, the synergy and complementary nature of our two offers Powell 365 and Powell Teams which helps businesses to preserve and reinforce the important social link in a company thanks to better communication and collaboration.

What’s your secret talent?

Father of 3 girls. I learn a lot of things, like patience.
